Cursor Crane 1.3.6 adds text selection in the original window from the Text Selection Panel, improves Element Menu responsiveness and drag positioning, and fixes input, search, screenshots, and OCR issues.

New

• After selecting recognized text in the Text Selection Panel, you can now press Command + Return to select the corresponding text in the original window.

Improvements

• Improved responsiveness when opening the Element Menu’s copy submenu and copying element selectors.
• Improved drag positioning: trigger command.toggleDrag to start dragging, then prefix a click command sequence with the numeric parameter 0 to locate the destination in Element Mode, Find Mode, or Grid Mode while keeping the mouse button held. Trigger command.toggleDrag again to drop. For example, if f is assigned to command.moveCursorToElementAndLeftClick, enter 0f and choose an element to drag to it without clicking or releasing the drag.

• Fixed a crash that could occur when typing in Cursor Crane’s input fields.
• Fixed Action Palette search result updates overwriting newly entered text.
• Fixed the Action Palette losing input focus when search results appear or disappear, and corrected result scrolling after the query changes.
• Fixed up and down arrow keys interfering with input method candidate selection in the Action Palette, while preserving result and history navigation.
• Fixed compact searches failing to match later words or phonetic syllables in the Action Palette. For example, newchat or nc can now match “Start New Chat”.
• Improved accessibility element detection, including recognition of menu items as clickable targets and more reliable detection of elements under the pointer.
• Fixed Element Mode failing to collect menu bar, desktop, and other window elements when no window is focused, according to your element collection settings.
• Fixed screenshots and OCR failing or capturing the wrong region in sheets and dialogs, including element screenshots from the Element Menu.
• Attempted to fix pointer movement getting stuck in Element Mode and other modes.
