Click Buttons and Links with the Keyboard on Mac
Click a button or link on your Mac by typing its hint in Cursor Crane. Element Mode identifies targets so you can choose the control you want without steering the mouse to it.
- In Command Mode, run
command.moveCursorToElementAndLeftClickusing its configured sequence, or invoke its assigned shortcut. - Type the complete hint on the button or link.
- Cursor Crane moves the pointer and clicks automatically when the hint is complete.
Do not press Enter to confirm the hint: Enter clicks at the current mouse position independently of hints.
Double-click or move without clicking
Section titled “Double-click or move without clicking”If you assign f to command.moveCursorToElementAndLeftClick, type 2f in Command Mode, then enter the target hint to double-click. Use 0f and select a target to move the pointer without clicking. Replace f with your configured sequence. Text and grid click commands also accept numeric parameters.
What to check
Section titled “What to check”Choose the command that includes a left click, rather than the move-only command. If a target has no useful Accessibility hint, try switching to OCR with Tab, or use Grid Mode to position the pointer geometrically.
