Move Between Nearby Mac Controls with the Keyboard
Move from the control under the mouse pointer to a nearby control without reading another hint. Cursor Crane lets you use directional navigation inside Element Mode.
When you enter Element Mode, the element under the mouse cursor is highlighted by default.
You can hold Space to enter navigation mode. In navigation mode, you can use the movement keys from Mouse Control Mode to move to a neighboring element, then release Space to confirm.
The same idea also lets you select the element under the cursor directly: enter navigation mode and release Space immediately.
What to check
Section titled “What to check”Navigation uses the movement keys from your Mouse Control layout. The action after confirming a target still depends on the command you used to enter Element Mode: choose a move-only command if you do not want to click.
