Move Mac Windows Between Displays and Spaces with the Keyboard

Unlocked or active trial

Send the active Mac window to another display or Space using Cursor Crane. Choose this workflow when you want to move the window itself, rather than just moving the mouse pointer.

Steps

  1. Enter Adjust Mode.
  2. Hold Command and press a direction key to move the window to the adjacent display.
  3. Hold Option and press a direction key to move the window to the previous or next Space.

The pointer remains under keyboard control, so you can continue with another command after the window moves.

Focus the window first and keep the pointer off adjustable splitters or sliders so the window becomes the target.
